Fred Boykin, MSW, LCSW, has been working in the field of clinical social work for the last 25 years. He has extensive experience with issues related to illness, men's issues, sexuality, HIV/AIDS, addictions and mind/body/spirit balancing.
He has been a volunteer at Whitman Walker clinic in the HIV/AIDS education program and mental health outreach. Currently, he volunteers his time at Sunserve in Broward County, FL as an intake counselor, therapist, and providing supervisory feedback to students and interns at the center. He will soon be a certified supervisor at Sunserve. He also participates in the Therapist Collective at Sunserve.
He graduated from Smith College School of Social Work and worked ten years at the National Institutes of Health in its Allergy and Infectious Disease Institute. He is a certified teacher and supervisor of the Enneagram, a spiritual and psychological instrument.
